The Hilditch Group Planning Rapid Growth After Major Investment

For the last 30 years the Hilditch Group Limited has been the leader in the UK for the resale of used medical equipment, auctioning specialist medical devices for over 90% of NHS Hospital Trusts in the UK. In recent years the Hilditch Group have expanded their comprehensive range of auctioneering services into several European countries, including; Spain, The Netherlands, Finland, France and Germany.

2020 is set to see further expansion following new investment from Bestport and West Country Capital. Mike Hilditch, who founded the Hilditch Group in 1990, added: “We are thrilled to have Bestport and WestCountry Capital on board to support the future growth of the business. This investment clearly demonstrates their confidence in this market and the future prospects for the business. Most importantly of all, the investment and support of Bestport and WestCountry Capital will help Hilditch to grow the business both in the UK and internationally.”

The Hilditch Board has been further strengthened with Ashley Levinson joining as Chairman, and Ole Bettum joining as Non-Executive Director. Ole Bettum who led the transaction for Bestport has said: “Hilditch is a tremendous company with a very strong market niche, and an excellent track record of customer service and growth. We are very excited to be backing the management team and supporting their future growth ambitions.”
