Condition Report:
The WATO anaesthetic machine powers up and completes the initial system self test successfully. The unit passed both auto and manual leak tests. Digital pipeline pressure gauges, flow meter and O2 flush are all functional. Touch screen, rotary knob and function keys were in good working order. Ventilation modes included VCV, PCV, PSV, SIMV-VC, PCV-PC & PCV-VG. The breathing system is intact with the flow sensors, CO2 absorber & bellows in place and working, there is no O2 sensor installed in the breathing assembly. System was tested with medical air and test lung in VCV mode. Good ventilation cycles were delivered with set tidal volume (TV) and breath frequency (BPM) corresponding to the resulted minute volume (MV). The backup battery was working at the time of test. Air & O2 pin-index yokes are fitted at the rear. Overall the unit is in good physical condition with minor signs of wear consistent with use.
The MP70 patient monitor powered up and completed start up tests. The touch screen, rotary knob and function keys were in good working order. The associated multiparameter module was detected and tested with a spare SpO2 sensor, graphic waveforms were displayed as expected. The G5 gas monitor was also in working order, the unit successfully detected changes in CO2. All accessories were in good physical condition, with minor signs of wear.
