Medical Engineers, we need you!
The Amalthea Trust is looking for Biomedical Engineers willing to give up two weeks of their time from between 25th February and 9th March.
Help is required to run practical sessions in the lab at Kyambogo University, Kampala, Uganda, in order to provide the practical elements of the BME Diploma and Degree courses at that institution. The topic that needs to be covered is ultrasound – including for example the basic theory, practical maintenance and repairs. We have all of the necessary teaching materials already, and the Program Manager, Mr Jas Bilkhu, will be standing by to help wherever needed.
As usual, all expenses will be covered, including flights, accommodation, food, etc.
If you are able to help, please contact Amalthea directly either by email, info@amaltheatrust.org.uk, or by phone on 07753 451945.
Thank you.
