Condition Report:
The Philips iU22 ultrasound system powers up and completes self-test, with software and user interface working as expected. Gain controls, soft function keys, trackball, keyboard, touch and LCD screens are in good working condition. Review soft key is a little stiff, but otherwise functional. The keyboard tray does not push all the way into its storage area on the system, but can be pulled out as required. Patient registration and storage is fully functional. Screen height adjustment is stable at different elevations. Vertical console assembly adjustment is in good working order. The L17-5, C5-1, L9-3 and C8-4v transducers show no crystal element damage or loose connections in cabling that would otherwise distort the image. There is some slight membrane wear at the edges of the L17-5 and C8-4v transducers, but these do not affect the image quality. Each transducer was tested with a test phantom. The L9-3 and L17-5 transducers were found to have good resolution, good grey scale and good mage quality. The C5-1 and C8-4v transducer was found to have fair resolution, good grey scale and fair image quality. All calliper measurements were found to be accurate for each transducer. The unit was tested on M, CPA, PW, Colour, 2D and 3D modes; with all being fully functional. LCD and touch screens have all function menus accessible. Printer is in good physical and working condition, but was not fully tested due to a lack of paper. The wheel-lock mechanism is in good working condition. The system is in fair physical condition, with a slightly damaged back panel.
