The ultrasound system powers up and completes the initialisation process successfully. The LCD monitor, touch screen console, control panel and trackball are working accordingly and the positioning adjustment of the control panel and monitor are also in good working order. Patient registration and image storing options are working accordingly and the printer is also in good working order. The functional system modes include 2D, ADF, CDI, POWER, PW and M-mode. All three transducers are working accordingly, tested with phantom and the system produced clear images with good resolution and greyscale and accurate caliper measurements. However, one of the transdcuers (6C1) has crystal drop-out and therefore showed dark sections on the image. The front handle of the ultrasound unit has two small dents. Otherwise the unit is in reasonable physical condition with minor signs of wear.
