Condition Report:
The ultrasound system powers up and completes the initialisation process successfully. The LCD monitor, control panel, trackball and touch screen interface are all working accordingly. The motorised height adjustment and horizontal positioning adjustment of the control panel are in good working order and the electromagnetic brakes are also operational. Patient registration and image storing options are working accordingly and the printer is also in good working order. The functional system modes include 2D, Color, PD, PW, CW and M-mode. 3D and 4D modes are also functional and the HDlive option is also available. The transducer is working accordingly, tested with phantom and the system produced clear images with good resolution and greyscale and accurate caliper measurements. The transducer has some defective wires within the cable which produce interference in CW mode. The ultrasound unit has a few small crack lines on the edge of the control panel (near the handle). Otherwise the unit is in good physical condition with minor signs of wear.
