The surgical operating microscope powers up and completes the initial system self test successfully. The LCD monitor and touch screen are in good working order, all system menus are accessible and the xenon lamps are operational (Remaining time, Lamp 1: 187 hrs Lamp 2: 456 hrs). Both binocular tubes, eye pieces (4 x 10x mag) and the microscope optics are in very good condition and producing clear images. The digital camera system produces clear images on the LCD monitor. Video & photo capture system is not activated. Both hand grip controls are fully functional with motorised zoom, focus, X-Y and brightness controls are working fine. Wireless foot control is fully functional but the battery is low. The suspension arm's electromagnetic brake release and adjustments are working accordingly with the auto balancing option fully functional. The castor wheels and brakes are in good working order. Overall the unit is in good physical condition with minor signs of wear and scratch marks to the paintwork on some corners and edges, consistent with use.
