Hilditch Group Re-Certified with Zero Non-Conformances

ISO Accreditation

ISO Audits

We’re delighted to announce that we have just successfully undergone our most recent ISO audits and been re-certified for ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) with zero non-conformances across the board.

This comes hot on the heels of our January ISO 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management) audit, so all of our key management system certifications are now current. These standards independently certify the effectiveness of our quality, environmental and health and safety management systems as we assist healthcare providers with the resale of used, surplus and new medical equipment in the UK and Europe.

Achieving zero non-conformances

A Testament to Preparation and Consistency

Achieving zero non-conformances is a major achievement for a business and speaks to the consistency of our processes throughout the year, not just in the week of the audit. It is also a reflection of the time spent preparing, documenting, and testing our systems in the lead-up to the audits.

Special thanks go to Jamie Howes, our Operations Manager, for his work in preparing us and supporting our teams through the audit. Jamie’s emphasis on continuous improvement, documentation and staff buy-in was integral to this achievement.

“Achieving zero non-conformances to all audits is an excellent outcome and demonstrates the commitment and quality of our team. These certificates are not simply certifications but a reflection of the fact that our systems are operating in the most efficient way, every day.” Alex Willis, Managing Director, Hilditch.

Why These Certifications Matter to Our Clients

For our clients in the NHS and independent healthcare sector, as well as our global partners, these accreditations give them confidence that:

  • We have a manageable, measurable and regularly assessed quality management system (ISO 9001).
  • We manage and reduce our environmental footprint (ISO 14001).
  • We have effective health and safety measures in place to safeguard our employees, visitors and contractors (ISO 45001).
  • Our medical device processes meet industry-specific quality and regulatory standards (ISO 13485).

In a highly regulated, data-driven marketplace where patient safety is paramount, these standards enable us to provide a safe, compliant, and trusted service to customers buying and selling used medical equipment.

Looking Ahead

Recertification is not the goal; it’s a stepping stone. We’ll keep evaluating our processes, seeking customer feedback, and exploring opportunities to enhance our quality, sustainability and safety processes for our auctions, direct sales and broader asset management services.
